We remember and value the members of the Deaf Communities in Australia, who fought to preserve our rich heritage, culture and our language: Auslan (Australian Sign Language). We also appreciate and watch our custodians of Auslan, promoting awareness, equality and access through our sign language. Through Auslan, we inspire future leaders in our deaf communities to continue our preservation of the use of Auslan and the culture.
